Why the MMR Vaccine Matters
Measles is one of the most contagious viruses, and it spreads quickly through airborne droplets when someone sneezes or coughs. Protecting your child with the MMR vaccine reduces their risk of getting sick and contributes to the larger goal of community immunity. The vaccine is proven to be safe and highly effective, with two doses offering up to 99% protection against measles.
