Motility Disorders Program
The Motility Disorders Program at Children’s provides care to children and adolescents with a wide range of gastrointestinal motility disorders, or complications of the movement of food through the digestive tract. With a new dedicated Specialty Outpatient Procedure Suite, our providers are able to further innovate and expand motility procedures offered to patients now, and in the coming years.
Weight & Wellness
In July 2023, Weight & Wellness in Omaha will move to Children’s Specialty Pediatric Clinic – Cass West, allowing for more space and expansion for the program. The Weight & Wellness service will continue to be provided at Children’s Specialty Pediatric Clinic – Lincoln as well.
Advanced Endoscopic Procedures
In late 2023, Children’s will offer the region’s only pediatric advanced endoscopic procedures, including endoscopic microscopy, endoscopic suturing, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS). The minimally invasive procedures will be performed by pediatric gastroenterologist Dr. Andrew Huang and will allow for better views and treatments of the GI tract and nearby organs and make for faster recoveries to get children home sooner.
