Children's Nebraska and Insight Surgery are proud to announce an innovative partnership aimed at revolutionizing pediatric surgical care with personalized surgical planning and rapid manufacturing of medical devices for complex surgeries.
Insight Surgery is a global leader in the provision of personalized medical devices and virtual surgical planning for complex orthopedic and orthopedic oncology surgeries. This collaboration will add to Children’s nationally renowned 3D program by enabling its team to manufacture on-site personalized medical devices and drastically reduce turnaround times. The collaboration underscores Children’s commitment to innovation and excellence in pediatric healthcare.
Patients, physicians and providers will benefit as Children’s will be able to provide nationwide, personalized medical devices to enhance precision in complex surgeries, improve patient operative outcomes, reduce operational expenses and turnaround times from weeks to days.
Insight and Children’s recently completed together their first case providing personalized surgical planning and cutting guides to a leading U.S.-based orthopedic oncology surgeon for a complex sarcoma surgery of the tibial tubercle and patellar tendon including an allograft.
