Administrative Fellowship Program

The Administrative Fellowship is a one-year, postgraduate opportunity designed for individuals interested in an administrative career in pediatric healthcare. Reporting to a senior executive, fellows will receive hands-on experience in both clinical and non-clinical areas of Children’s Nebraska through a combination of project work, rotations, observations and shadowing experiences.

Fellowship Objectives:

• Provide meaningful, hands-on administrative experience across a wide variety of disciplines.

• Offer opportunities to connect with executive leaders throughout the organization.

• Involve participants in projects that align with their individual interests and career goals while supporting the priorities and needs of Children’s Nebraska.

• Help build the skills and confidence needed for a future leadership career in pediatric healthcare.

With the assistance of the senior executive team, fellows will have the autonomy to develop a set of project proposals, as well as gain insight into all aspects of healthcare administration by means of observation, committee meetings and hands-on experience.

Children's Nebraska is a member of the National Council on Administrative Fellowships (NCAF). As such, we adhere to the uniform application and offer dates and utilize the centralized application service (NAFCAS). Informational Webinar

Children’s Nebraska will host two virtual informational webinars in July and August 2026 (dates to be announced) to provide an overview of the Administrative Fellowship, outline application expectations and offer time for questions.
