James D. Vargo, MD

Dr. Vargo received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. He completed his Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., and a Craniofacial & Pediatric Plastic Surgery fellowship at the University of Michigan-Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, Mich. He is an assistant professor of Surgery at UNMC College of Medicine.

Dr. Vargo’s clinical interests include treating the full spectrum of pediatric plastic surgery reconstructive needs in children and young adults, including, but not limited to, cleft lip and palate, craniofacial anomalies, orthognathic (jaw) surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, rhinoplasty and ear anomalies.
