Ram Kumar Subramanyan, MD, PhD, FACS

Ram Subramanyan, MD, PhD, is Children’s division chief of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Dr. Subramanyan received his medical degree from Chennai Medical College in Chennai, India. He received his Ph.D., at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where he also completed General Surgery and Cardiovascular Surgery residencies. He completed a Congenital Cardiac Surgery fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Subramanyan is a professor, UNMC Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Department of Pediatric Surgery.
