Kirstin F. Grahn, MD

My name is Kirstin Grahn and I’m a pediatrician with Children’s Physicians at Spring Valley.

 

I would hope my patients would describe me as caring. My standard of care is to treat them like I would want my kids to be treated. I’m also pretty fun, outgoing, relaxed, and casual with the kids and their families.

 

I like the idea that we’re experts in kids. We focus on that and we focus on keeping up-to-date on all the latest care options for kids, and the latest evidence for how to keep kids as healthy as we can.

 

I really enjoy working with children with special healthcare needs. I like the challenges of that, and I like to advocate for what those kids and their families need.

 

I am a bilingual pediatrician — I speak English and Spanish. It is really cool that we have the opportunity to communicate one-on-one with our families through myself, through my staff, and through my nurses in both languages, so that everybody feels comfortable coming here.
