Katherine E. Anglim, MD

My name is Katie Anglim. I am a general pediatrician with Children’s Physicians, Eagle Run.

Pediatrics really was appealing to me because I just like kids — I think kids are great patients. They’re very resilient, they’re fun, they don’t want to be sick — they want to be well. I also like the preventative care that goes along with pediatrics. I like to be able to help them start good habits when they’re younger that will stick with them for a lifetime. I also like to just work with families — get to know them and watch them grow.

I take my job as a pediatrician seriously. I know that parents are trusting me with their child and their health — that’s something that I don’t take lightly. I do have children of my own, so I’ve also been on the other end — I know what it’s like to have a sick child or to seek care for a child.

It’s a lot of fun to see kids over the years, to see them grow, see them overcome illnesses, or overcome fears. It’s a privilege to be a part of that process and to help them through the different milestones in life. That’s a fun part of the practice.
