About Vivek Dutt, MBBS
Dr. Dutt received his medical degree (MBBS) from Christian Medical College (CMC) in Vellore, India, where he also completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency and received a Master of Surgery (MS) degree in Orthopedic Surgery. He was an associate professor of Pediatric Orthopedics at CMC, Vellore before moving to the United States. He completed the following fellowships: Pediatric Orthopedics at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare-University of Minnesota in St. Paul, Minn.; Orthopedic Oncology at Medstar Washington Medical Center in Washington, D.C.; and Child and Young Adult Hip Preservation Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital. He served as a Pediatric Orthopedic surgeon at Albany Medical Center in Albany, N.Y. He is an assistant professor, UNMC Division of Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery, Department of Orthopedic Surgery.

This was our second time visiting pediatric orthopedics with our on the go teenage boy— hello trampolines, dirt bikes, and electric scooters!! We came in with an anxious kid and left with a couple of repaired bones and a new favorite doctor!! Dr Dutt and his team have the magical ability to talk to kids in a way that made him feel comfortable and heard. Made him laugh. Made him smile. The care was top-notch, the communication was clear, and the whole team made us feel like we were in the best hands. 10/10—would trust them with any future “adventures.” And a shout out to Natalie Englebretson, PA-C— she remembered us from our first broken bone three years ago and took the time to ease all my momma nervousness and help with school notes and paperwork. She was so kind and helpful!!!

He is an amazing doctor!! My son always goes in nervous and anxious, but Dr Dutt with his knowledge and humor always makes him feel at ease and laugh. I would recommend Dr. Dutt and all of his staff to anyone!
