Adil Shah, M.D., received his medical degree at the Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his General Surgery internship at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona in Phoenix, and his surgical training at Howard University Hospital and College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Pediatric Surgery at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Shah’s surgical interests include adolescent weight loss surgery, thoracic and foregut disorders, chest wall deformities, minimally invasive surgery and neonatal surgery. He also has several scholarly manuscripts and book chapters to his credit. Dr. Shah is an assistant professor, UNMC Division of Pediatric Surgery, Department of Surgery.
