Behavioral Health Crisis Assessment

Our Behavioral Health Crisis Assessment and Observation program offers immediate, walk-in access to mental health evaluation and intervention for pediatric patients experiencing acute behavioral health crises. This service provides same-day support from licensed clinicians, reducing reliance on emergency department visits and facilitating timely care. For patients requiring extended stabilization, the adjacent Stabilization Center delivers up to 23 hours of intensive therapeutic intervention and monitoring in a safe, child-centered environment designed to promote comfort and emotional regulation.

At the Crisis Assessment Center, you’ll meet a caring team ready to help your child feel safe and supported. Therapists provide immediate emotional support and create a plan for next steps. Peer support specialists offer understanding and encouragement from their own experiences. Behavioral Health technicians help with comfort, safety and activities during your visit. When needed, medical providers are available for extra care. Together, we’re here to listen, guide and help your family through this challenging time.
