About Us
The Ear Tube Clinic at Children’s Nebraska provides specialized evaluation and management for children age four and younger with recurrent or chronic otitis media. The clinic includes coordinated assessment by audiology and pediatric otolaryngology.
When tympanostomy tube placement is indicated, procedures are performed by pediatric‑trained otolaryngologists in collaboration with pediatric anesthesiology to ensure safe, age‑appropriate care.
Appointments open Wednesdays at 7 a.m. for the following week and are available on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Procedures are typically scheduled for the week following the clinic visit. The clinic’s goal is timely intervention to alleviate symptoms and support healthy developmental outcomes in young children.

Meet Our Providers
Treatments and Services
Your child’s Ear Tube Clinic visit will begin with a hearing test performed by an audiologist. An ENT provider will then perform a physical exam. If an ear tube procedure is recommended, our team will help you schedule it for the following week. The procedure will be performed by a pediatric otolaryngology (ENT) surgeon, with support from a pediatric anesthesiologist.
