Medical Education Programs
We provide faculty and students with several opportunities for furthering their education and expertise. Our offerings include medical education (residency and fellowship opportunities for non-nursing medical specialists), nursing education, and continuing medical education for current professionals. In addition, we have a Summer Undergraduate Research Program and a Pediatric Honors program, which provide educational opportunities for undergraduate and fourth-year medical students.

Research has been a major focus at Children’s and has grown rapidly. Faculty and staff perform a wide range of research activities to advance knowledge about childhood diseases. The research encompasses all areas, including:

- Epidemiology
- Disease discovery
- Characterization of the variation and natural history of diseases
- Investigating pathogenic mechanisms
