Ear Tube Clinic

Frequent or ongoing ear infections in children under four years old may require specialized care to prevent future complications. At the Ear Tube Clinic, we have the expertise and child-sized equipment needed to assess and address your child’s ear infection or pain issues.

About Us

The Ear Tube Clinic at Children’s Nebraska is dedicated to treating children four years old and younger who are experiencing frequent or recurring ear infections — also known as recurrent otitis media or chronic otitis media. Our clinic is held on Wednesdays, during which your child will be evaluated by an audiologist and an ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) provider. If an ear tube procedure is recommended, our pediatric-trained otolaryngologists (ENTs) and anesthesiologists work together to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for your child. The procedure will be scheduled for the week following the clinic visit.

Appointments for our Ear Tube Clinic open each Wednesday at 7 a.m. for the following week and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Our team’s focus is helping children feel better and return to healthy development as quickly as possible. If your child experiences frequent ear infections or ear pain, our team is here to provide expert care.
