About Us
Children’s Nebraska’s Eating Disorders Program provides specialized care for children and adolescents up to age 21. As the only pediatric program in the area, we are uniquely equipped to address the complex needs of both patients and their families. Our approach focuses on not just overcoming the eating disorder, but also equipping children with the tools they need for a healthy relationship with food.
The Eating Disorders Program prioritizes family involvement, offering support and education on nutrition, communication, and meal planning to help families navigate this challenging journey. With early intervention, we aim to prevent the need for inpatient care, which can often require costly, out-of-state treatment. Through our program, we empower children to heal physically and emotionally, setting them up for a healthy future.
