Next Steps
Step 1: Talk to Your Provider
Start by discussing your child’s needs with their healthcare provider. Ask if home health care is the right option for your child and request a referral. This step ensures your child gets the care they need at home.
Step 2: Schedule a Visit
Once you have a referral, our team will help you schedule a home visit.
Prepare for Your Visit
Preparing for a Home Health Visit
Day-of Confirmation: On the day of your visit, you’ll receive a call to confirm your nurse’s arrival time. During this call, you’ll also learn who will be coming and what type of care will be provided, so you know exactly what to expect.
Helping Your Child Prepare: If appropriate, talk with your child ahead of time about the visit. Let them know a nurse will be coming and explain in simple terms what they can expect, helping them feel more comfortable and at ease.
